Bomber Command Museum

Monkey loves the Bomber Command Museum in Nanton and always begs me to take him when we go up to Edmonton. The admission is “by donation” so you decide how much you want to give, but the suggested amount is $20 per family or $10 per adult.

They have a replica of a Lancaster KB-864 that you can actually go in and pretend to fly.

They even have a dress up station in the plane!

Monkey’s other favourite part of the museum is the flight simulator.

I think the gigantic planes are pretty cool. For $5 per person, you can get a guided tour of the inside of this plane.

I had a hard time dragging this kid away, but the promise of getting to see his grandparents in Edmonton finally got him to leave.
