Pretty much the best recovery food ever


The past week has been rather eventful. I got really sick really fast, my neighbor rushed me to the emergency room, and I’m on 5 different drugs now instead of the two I was on before I got sick. Thanks immune system for forgetting how to immune system. Not cool.


I’m lucky that I live in an amazing community. My Relief Society president brought over a macaroni bake for Monkey and some Thai chicken and vegetable soup for me. It just so happens that if you type “flu recovery diet” into the Pinterest search bar, this is the first thing that comes up. I didn’t make this, but since I’m just now getting back on my feet after two very intense days of illness, you’ll have to forgive me.


Here’s a recipe a friend gave me so I can make more when I’m better. You just substitute chicken for shrimp.
