When you feel like crap, go see your grandparents.

I woke up on the wrong side of the bed and had arguments with three different people before 8:30 this morning. I’m already under a lot of stress from normal life obligations and and I just couldn’t handle talking to people who think the nonproven link between vaccines and asthma is more of a threat than bringing back polio, so I went to go hang out with people who know what’s what: my grandparents. Oh, and we got ice cream on the way.

We of course had to cuddle the puppies while we were there.

Monkey named this one Squeedo.

Hi Squeedo!

My cousin’s other dog died last month, and Monkey asked if it regenerated into this puppy. ❤️

After the puppy cuddles, my grandma wanted to go to Waterton, so we piled in the car and off we went.

I was going to go down to the water, but that yellow sign said “Caution, enter canyon at your own risk” and I decided that was a risk I would rather not take.

Monkey was all excited about going hiking, but it was raining, so we didn’t make it far.

We mostly just walked around the entrance to Red Rock Canyon.

This place is so gorgeous. The red in the rocks is basically rust. These rocks have a lot of iron in them.

Of course, you can’t go to Waterton without taking a picture at Cameron Falls!

I’ve never seen the falls like this before. There was about 5 times the normal amount of water and it was rushing so fast. I do feel better now, after spending time with family and in nature. Plus my grandpa bought me more ice cream on the way home.
