The weather outside is frightful

Edmonton is doing one of those horrible snowing nonstop for several days things again.

That means we need to shovel!

…And shovel…

…and shovel more…

…and basically just shovel snow forever.

Before I moved up here, my friends in southern Alberta tried to warn me about how much it snows. I didn’t believe them.

It snows SO MUCH here. But that’s ok, because I really like going barefoot in the snow. If you haven’t tried it before, you need to! It feels like walking on wet sand. It’s really nice.

Except for the cold part, that’s not so nice.

Still shoveling.

Does it ever end?

Nearly finished.

All done!

It’s so amazing to see how easily it looks to be barefoot in the snow when you’re doing it :) I like the feeling of snow, too! But unfortunately my feet get cold very fast and start to hurt. Need to train more I guess.

So good to see that somebody else likes going Barefoot in the snow that’s the time of year that I enjoy it the most I shovel snow in my bare feet to my kids and my wife think I’m strange but it’s good to see somebody else that enjoys doing the same thing. Good for you in so many ways. My wife and kids gets sick alot. I hardly ever do. Do you know about the society for barefoot living? Look them up. Cheers Dave!
