A mile a day keeps the shoes away.

Everyday, I walk a mile on a gravel road near my house to keep my feet in tip top shape. I love the way the little rocks feel under my feet!

Perfect. That’s the way to keep feet rough and strong. Packed enough to walk on without slipping–but a combination of larger rocks and sharper rocks to build up those abrasions that will form callouses.

I’m not sure why but this site is loading extremely slow for me.
Is anyone else having this problem or is it a issue on my
end? I’ll check back later and see if the problem still exists.

Hello there! I know this is kinda off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for
this website? I’m getting fed up of WordPress because
I’ve had issues with hackers and I’m looking at alternatives for
another platform. I would be great if you could point me in the
    direction of a good platform.

Sorry, sometimes it is glitchy. I have just done some WordPress updates, so hopefully that will resolve the issues.

I’m impressed, I have to admit. Rarely do I encounter a blog that’s both equally educative and entertaining, and without a doubt, you
have hit the nail on the head. The problem is something
not enough men and women are speaking intelligently about.
I’m very happy that I stumbled across this in my hunt for something regarding this.

Hi Sierra and all barefooters. I am glad to see there are others out there! I am in Houston Texas and regularly go to Memorial Park to walk and run barefoot. I have been asked by many women and girls but only a few men about why I am barefoot. I tell the advantages and urge them to Google BAREFOOT WALKING BAREFOOT RUNNING BAREFOOT HIKING AND EARTHING. Then I tell them to go to Amazon and buy The Barefoot Book or Barefoot Walking book or Barefoot Running book or Barefoot Hiking or Earthing books Some have and are interested. Had one guy running by who was in Vibrams said he was about to start barefoot running. I have only seen two girls and two guys barefooting on the running trails in the park, all at different times. I get allot of stares usually and am asked “doesn’t that hurt” The ones I explain about health, physical and mental benefits of barefoot walking and running seem to get it and it makes sense to them. Hope to see a Barefoot Walking, Running or Hiking Club start here in Houston, TX but none yet. Grocery stores? Kroger’s will not let you be barefoot in their stores- they say its against the Health Code- there is no such Health code in the whole US but a business can restrict a barefooter based on its own policy. Foodarama Grocery, Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes don’t care if your barefoot. God Bless you all, and happy barefooting everyone. Steve
